Carol in Finland!

So far my experience in Finland has been great! I met incredible people and places around the country and faced the coldest weather ever (only now I'm defrosting!!!). I know that only an experience like this could make possible learning so much about people, the world and, specially, myself. The first month of this exchange was for sure one of the best of my life (just don't my mother about it!)! I had several trainings about issues I was already interested in and about some other topics I didn't know were also interesting! Now I live with 3 other trainees in Oulu, from Poland, Philippines and Ukraine. We are responsible for planning and executing lessons related to global education in 5 other cities (and 3 are in Lapland, which is the place were Santa lives!!).
Kisses!

Enzo in Poland!

"Imagine yourself on a beautiful beach. Imagine the heat of the sun, the golden sands and the sound of the waves crashing against the shore. However, each wave leaves behind thousands of starfishes on the sand. The whole beach is covered with thousands upon thousands of starfish. You look down the beach and see a small girl walking along picking up one starfish and throwing it back into the sea. However, each time she does this, the wave brings thousands more onto the sand. You wonder why she is bothering to do this when she will never clear the beach. So you approach her and ask: 'Little girl, why do you waste your time throwing the starfish back into the sea when the waves bring more onto the shore?'. She picks up another starfish, throws it into the sea and replies: 'For that starfish it makes a difference'"

Eu fiz a minha qnd vim pra cá e em nenhum momento me arrependo dela. Vcs tb podem fazer isso. It's up to you! ;)

Cordiais saudações polonesas.
